Worked example
Take a brainrot with a base income of $1M/s. Give it a Diamond mutation (1.5x) and two traits worth 3x and 2x. The multiplier is 1.5 + 3 + 2 = 6.5, so it earns $6.5M/s — not $9M/s, which is what you would get if the mutation multiplied the traits. This is the single most common mistake in trade chats: people multiply everything together and overvalue heavily mutated brainrots.
What this calculator does not include
Base multipliers from rebirths and from index completion apply on top of the figure above — the rebirth dropdown covers the first, and index milestones add +0.5x each. Temporary boosts from admin events are not modelled here because they are not published as fixed values. Nothing here is a trade value: this is income, not worth.
