Buy immediately. An empty base slot earns nothing — a $25 starter pays for itself in 25 seconds. Early-game brainrots.
Keep the Bat out. Hitting a thief mid-carry sends your brainrot straight back to its slot; gear cannot be used while holding one. Gear and slaps.
Rebirth as soon as you can afford it. 500K plus two cheap brainrots buys a permanent multiplier, +10s base lock and, at rebirth 2, a second floor. All 19 rebirths.
